Manage test data

Use the Test Data tab to control the values FormTester 365 enters into form fields.

Customize a default fill value

1. Open Settings and select Test Data.
2. Expand Default label matches.
3. Enter your preferred value for a default field.
4. Move out of the field or press Enter to save it.

A Customized label appears beside an overridden value. Clear the customized value and save to return to the FormTester 365 default.

Field labels do not need to be exact. For example, a field labeled “Work email” can use the same fill value as “Email.”

Add a custom label match

1. Select Add custom label matching.
2. Add one or more field labels exactly as they appear on your forms. Matching is not case-sensitive.
3. Enter the value FormTester 365 should fill or select when it finds one of those labels.
4. Choose whether the match applies to all forms in your account or only to one website.
5. Select Add label match.

Edit or remove custom matches

Expand Your label matches to change a fill value, add or remove matching labels, or delete the custom match. Each custom match must retain at least one label.
