Add a website and forms

Add a website to FormTester 365, scan its pages, and choose the forms you want to test.

Add your website

1. Sign in to FormTester 365 and go to Dashboard.

2. Select Add Website.

3. Enter a name that will help you recognize the website.

4. Enter the full website URL, including https://.

5. Select Add Website.

You can add a website even if your plan has reached its form limit, but you must pause or remove another form—or upgrade your plan—before adding more forms.

Find forms

1. Open the website and select Add Form.

2. Choose Single URL or Multiple URLs.

3. Enter the full URL for each page that contains a form. You can scan up to 10 URLs at once.

4. Leave Use proxy enabled in most cases. Disable it only when you need to allow FormTester 365 IP addresses directly through a firewall or security service.

5. Select Find Forms and wait for each scan to finish.

If a page fails to scan, use the retry option. If a form appears only after a visitor clicks, scrolls, or waits, add a trigger so FormTester 365 can reveal it before testing.

Select and confirm forms

1. Select each discovered form you want FormTester 365 to test.

2. Select Continue with Selected Forms.

3. Give every form a unique, descriptive name. This is the name shown in your dashboard.

4. Select Add Forms.

The forms will appear under the website and can then be scheduled, paused, configured, or tested.

If no forms are found

• Confirm that the URL opens the page containing the form, not only the website home page.

• Add a trigger when the form is hidden behind a button, link, scroll position, or delay.

• Retry the scan without the proxy only when your firewall setup requires direct IP allowlisting.
